Lapis Lazuli Dolphin Bracelet
A stunning and subtle bracelet. Featuring the complex, turbulent blues of lapis lazuli, this bracelet honors the wonder of the Bali sea. Our jeweler has selected lapis lazuli with a high amount of white and gray veining to represent the powerful waves that surround much of Bali. The central stone is flanked by two dolphins. As a final detail the end of the chain is set with a small purple amethyst for an extra splash of color.
Dolphins are said to represent Varuna, the god of the sea and this pendant brings the wearer the grace of Varuna. Protection from harm, grace and wisdom are all said to be attained through connecting with dolphins and therefore Varuna.
Lapis Lazuli is one of the world’s first mined gemstones, first being made into jewelry over 9,000 years ago in Afghanistan. With a huge range to how it can actually look, this stone has long been associated with royalty and is said to protect against the evil eye and favor positive energy.
Amethyst has long been used to achieve emotional balance, bring wisdom and dispel negative energy. It is also connected to purification and the spiritual plane.
