We love amethysts and we love navette cuts here at Bali Shanti. This pendant makes wonderful use of both. In a dark, mysterious package this pendant enhances an amethyst navette at its center with a stunning contrast provided by smoky quartz and citrine, not to mention another amethyst in a square cut for good measure.

All set into a light, delicate pendant, this piece really makes great use of these darker hues, dispelling the idea that all gemstone pieces have to be colorful and sparkly.

Amethyst has long been used to achieve emotional balance, bring wisdom and dispel negative energy. It is also connected to purification and the spiritual plane.

Smoky quartz is perhaps one the worlds more mysterious gems. While its mysterious black-brown hue has been prized in jewelry for centuries it’s only recently been discovered that this coloration is the result of thousands of years exposed to radiation inside the earth's crust.
