Our freshwater pearls come from traditional farms in China, some dating back to the 13th century. Said to provide stability, combat depression, anxiety & stress whilst being charged with yin energy.
Onyx with its almost endless inky black is the gemstone that might have even more legends, mysteries and stories about it than diamonds. True black onyx is tough to come by with most examples actually being other variations of onyx that have been colored but just won’t have the same deep, perfect blackness as the real thing. Despite the usual associations the color black has, onyx has been long said to help release negative emotions and bring closure, courage and protection, a reason it was once favored in decorating warriors armor thousands of years ago.
Amethyst has long been used to achieve emotional balance, bring wisdom and dispel negative energy. It is also connected to purification and the spiritual plane.
